Party in Bath!

Filed under: Music, Things we like, Uncategorized — Jonny Collins @ 11:12 am

Hey we’re allowed to talk about shows at other places aren’t we?! This Saturday at Bath Pavilion there’s a closing party for the Bath Festival which features Justin Adams & Juldeh Camara as well as David Walters. Now I don’t know David Walters but J&J (can we call them J&J  - will they be upset?) I know from performances here at the entertainment centre of the south west. Can’t miss this then and it appears to be dirt cheap! Links, I got links, Tim Berners-Lee would be proud of me.

Filed under: Music, Opening Celebrations, Uncategorized — sarah @ 9:24 am

We couldn’t wait to let you know that Sir David Attenborough will be appearing at Colston Hall during our opening celebrations - he’ll be narrating our unique Nature’s Great Events concert on Tuesday 22  September.

The event features the first big-screen showing of the spectacular footage from BBC Natural History’s award-winning series, with the score from the series performed live by the BBC Concert Orchestra.  Sir David will introduce some of the most iconic scenes from the series, including the dramatic sardine feeding frenzy (see clip below).

The show is sure to sell out fast (and we’ll be at the front of the queue) so make sure you buy your tickets - call Colston Hall Box Office on 0117 922 3686 or click here.
